We hope you're having a great Monday. We're excited to continue our spring session this week, as follows: 1) Breakfast Burritos- in-person classes continue tomorrow morning, May 20th at 7 AM, as we explore the 2-part series on "The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry" by John Mark Comer. Major B will be adding live perspective about the content that John Mark will be sharing from, AND we will have time for processing sessions too! This final block will be running until June 10th. 2) Men's Tactical Weekend Friday and Saturday May 30-31- We would love for you to join us for the upcoming tactical weekend, put on my our "Sandy Satellite", particularly for the Friday and/or Saturday sessions, where we're going to have dinner at 6 PM, and will be hearing from a variety of speakers including Pastor David Taylor from The Life Church, Major B to Paul Morgan and Omar Barajas. If you're interested in joining us, please RSVP below!! 3) Zoom Classes- Join us online Wednesday May 21st with Chapter 28 "Yesterday and Today" as we talk through the book study Running Scared by Edward Welch at zoom.us/j/6700065485 This class is a great option for those of you who live far away or are in Central Oregon but it is more convenient to join us remotely. We have a great flow with our Zoom class, with amazing times of fellowship, prayer, encouragement and camaraderie to say the least. You were not created for autonomy. You were created for community! Please take your role in your home seriously and engage with your spouse, children, family and friends. These teachings will run from Tuesday April 1st to May 6th, which will include two sessions of group processing time. 2) "THE SHACK" MOVIE NIGHT: DATE: TBD. We have had a great few weeks of events and classes. See above photo of Major B after he spoke to the Sandy Varsity Football team before their playoff game earlier this month. Also, we are sending a quick reminder that we don't have classes this week with Thanksgiving, but pray that you and your family have a blessed and safe Thanksgiving Week. We're excited to start back with our December block of classes next week, as follows: 1) Breakfast Burritos- In-person classes will resume on Tuesday December 3rd at 7 AM as we finish the "What Makes You Happy" series and "A Gentleman's Guide to Success". These teachings will run from Tuesday December 3rd to December 17th. 2) Anger & Stress Management with Major B evening classes- Addressing "your" real life challenges with real life solutions! Tomorrow's 6:30 PM class at the Lion's Den, will help you understand and give you tools to manage your emotions, starting on December 3rd too. We're excited to complete the first fall class block and are looking forward to our next few weeks of events and upcoming session block, as follows: 1) Men's Breakfast- Confirmed for October 19th at Highland Baptist Church where Jacob will lead in worship and Major B will be the keynote speaker. 2) FAITH, FOOD AND FOOTBALL- Michigan/Oregon Game on Nov 2 at the Lion's Den. Time: TDB.
